Knowing that many of JoomlArt members have stayed a long time with Joomla and switching to a new platform might not always be a priority, thus concerns to duplicate a Magento design might exist. For video demonstration, JA Tube explores embed video via custom module as a replacement to our Slideshow solution. You are presented with a video box and watch the video directly on the page. Meanwhile, modules JA Content Slider and JA Tabs take the place of default extensions in JM Tube for article listings. JA Tube will be an ideal store addition to any business, either as a sub-store or the whole portal solution.

After several requests we are happy to release a templates designed around videos and media. We are proud to release our new S5 Media Player module that nicely compliments Mediaplate. The module allows you to add up to 30 video clips/movies. It accepts FLV files and the popular MP4 file types. This template has 21 modules positions with 3 module styles. As first released last month we include the image rotator and give it a new look to match the Mediplate template. As usually we give you some background options, Mediaplate brings two. You can assign a background to the top portion of the template and to the bottom portion. The S5 Tab show is also included in this template release as seen in the City Portal template. Recently, you may have heard about the widespread use of AJAX technology which is being used by Gmail, Yahoo mail. Today, we are happy to announce the release of JA Capella II using moo.fx and propotype (easy-to-use toolkit for class-driven development and the Ajax library) to prove that Joomla! template utilization can be a very flexible and creative job. The hide/show right panel of JA Capella II is much smoother and looks nicer than the old version (JA Capella). Although this is only a small improvement, this is one of the very first steps to prove we can make use of AJAX in designing Joomla! templates as well as making components and modules. Currently, JoomlArt.com team is working on a menu system for Joomla! using the cool features of moo.fx and propotype and expect our templates club members to give it a try in the near future.
